Happy Early National Day people. And hope you enjoy your 4-day break at home. Slack! But dont forget to complete the gifts given for this celebration.

Well, teachers are always very kind, cos they're afraid that we might be bored to death during the long weekends so they stuffed us with some nicely decorated and wrapped gifts to play around with.

xD okay enough of the crap, homework for this weekend:

Math Stats Ws Exercise 1B Question1 and 3
English Arguementative Essay Draft. Topic: Science is more important and useful than Art
Prepare Chinese Presentation if you haven't done so.
Study for SPA [this coming Fri] -anyone knows what's tested? C'mon, share with the classxD [okay, ms ng's gonna kill me if she sees this] Then we're not righteous and holy -.-
English Common Test up on this Tues- Comprehension without Summary[:
D&T Test right after CT [what a boring tuesday!] : We're supposed to stay in class to do the test for Mr Tay's students.
Some Literature homework....on moodle but we cant enter T_T

Maybe...If you're hardworking enough...But havent copied the 6 questions that Miss Nisrin showed on the screen...You can copy these 6 questions and do and wait and see what happens.

1. Why might the old house at Ang Siang HIll be said to contain dreams "before you sleep"?
2. What do you understand by the words "straits-born" in line 6?
3. What great changes might "re-development" (line 21) bring?
4. What factors have propelled change in modern Singapore?
5. How much of a role has economic necessity played?
6. How important are History and culture to the modern world? Should we make more time for them?

Just in case somebody goes..."I forgot to bring my Lit file home...Could you scan me the poem?" Here's the poem:

an unusual house this is
dreams are here before you sleep
tread softly
into the three-storeyed gloom
sit gently
on the straits born furniture
imported from china
speak quietly
to the contemporary occupants

they are not afraid of you
waiting for you to go
before they dislocate your intentions
so what if it is
your grandfather's house
his ghost doesn't live here anymore
your family past is
superannuated grim
which increases with time
otherwise nothing adds or subtract
the bricks and tiles
until re-development
which will greatly change
this house-that-was
dozens of it along the street
the next and the next as well

nothing much will be missed
eyes not tradition tell you this

I dont think there should be anymore requests right? Cos i'm too lazy to post on class blog -.-
